Ash is a staple of virtually every British woodland. This most useful of trees loses nothing of its versatility once made into charcoal. Easy to light, quick to respond to changes in airflow. It copes well with a hot grill, or low and slow setups and is an excellent all-rounder. Distilled in the unique Whittle & Flame process, the subtle light sweet smoky flavour, comes through beautifully and is a joy to cook with.

Sweet Chestnut smoking chunks are a beautiful addition to any barbecue, delivering an aromatic sweetness into meats and vegetables. Perfect for adding a sweet smoke to meats or fish – a great all rounder.

Oak smoking chunks pair perfectly to raise the smoky infusions to any barbecue food. Delivering a deep smoky flavour associated with American barbecue, these chunks are a strong flavour enhancer.

The flamers are made from natural wood wool with natural, renewable, untreated wood shavings. They have multi purpose use to start fires in wood burners, barbecues, stoves, campfires, pizza ovens and firepits. Say farewell to fumbling with newspapers or chemical filled petrol starters (yuck). Simply add ONE flamer in the centre beneath your charcoal and light!

Flavour Profile

Aromatic heat that absorbs into food for unmistakably sweet, smoky, charred flavours.
