Scottish Charcoal

Made by Jo and Paul at Green Aspirations Scotland, this is proper charcoal with a proper story behind it. Native Scottish hardwoods are coppiced from local woodland before being carefully made, graded and bagged largely by hand at the Cardross Estate in Stirlingshire.

The result is something rather special. It lights quickly, spreads beautifully and absolutely loves to get hot. Brilliant on an open grill, superb in a kamado and one of those charcoals we knew we wanted in the House from the very first cook.

Better still, every bag supports sustainable woodland management, traditional skills and the work of this brilliant social enterprise.

Scottish grown. Scottish made. Seriously good charcoal.
